De Tijd and L'Echo
September 4th, 2008
Great news!
De Tijd and L’Echo, two belgian newspapers recently redesigned their websites and opted to use Shareomatic! for all their share/saving needs.
Now the users of De Tijd and L’Echo are able to use their favorite service(s) while those newspapers keep a clean layout.
Changes.

Today we were notified of a bug, so we just deployed a fix. Everything should be fine now.
Along with the fix came a brand new automagical service, this time it’s for Spurl.
Enjoy!

We do regular checks to see which services are still in business or still relevant to be used with Shareomatic. Since we monitor it, you don’t have to.
So as of today there are 66 services at your service.
Publish your plugin.
November 4th, 2007
If you develop your own plugin to add Shareomatic! to your site (we know you want to), help us make Shareomatic! available on as many platforms as possible, and publish your plugin. If you send it to us, we’ll add your plugin to the list, giving you full and visible credit.
Don’t be shy: even if you’re no code guru, but are keen to explain the steps that you took to use Shareomatic! on your site, we’ll wrap it up for you and you will still get credit for it.
Many thanks to Guy Geens for providing us the explanation on how to add Shareomatic! to your blogspot/blogger account.

Shareomatic! v1.
August 21st, 2007
Yes, this is the time. The time is now. We are proud to announce a new release of Shareomatic!. Can we call this a v1? Yes I believe so.
Changes in this release:
- new design, layout
- cookies, this time we have a memory
- remove account, some people like to remove their accounts, (I do too, but not on Shareomatic!)
- a number of fixes for what’s hot
- a number of fixes for feeds (what’s hot feed, shared by others feed)
- a number of fixes for submitting links (via bookmarklet and others)
- improved faq, it should be clear now ;)
- pretty stable :P
These changes are all visual and bugfixes, the never-seen-before-incredible-useful feature is not included in this release.
Soon… but not yet. Enjoy!
Hello there!
July 13th, 2007
Hello there, yep we’re still here. No worries.
There are main 2 reasons why it’s been so quite lately, being work on:- a major redesign.
- a never-seen-before-incredible-useful feature.
So be sure to be the first to check it out once it’s there. When? Soon. How soon? Let’s just say we’ll keep you posted. ;)
Changes today: we slowed things down a bit in regards to the latest news. We were gathering too much information in a too short timeframe. Nobody likes too much, it scares people away, even we ran away. So instead of updating the latest news page every 20 minutes, we now do it every hour.
What's up with the feed?
June 20th, 2007
What’s up with the feed? That’s exactly what we were thinking too.
Last time we announced our super-keep-up-feeds but as there was a small glitch in the matrix, no new stuff came through. In other words, for a couple of days it looked like there wasn’t anything hot in the blogosphere.
Well, we removed the glitch and suddenly there’s a lot of hot stuff, everywhere! :)
What's hot on Shareomatic!
May 31st, 2007
Shareomatic! got even more powerful.
Keep an eye on the pulse of the blogosphere with What's hot. Every couple of hours, this page updates itself with the top links on the most used social bookmarking services. If you prefer to watch this in your favorite feed reader, here's the feed. Of course, you can still follow all this on Twitter, too.
Speaking of feeds, watch what other people are sharing on this feed.
And as a bonus, the number of social bookmarking services has now increased to 63!
Keep on sharing!
Shareomatic! on Twitter!
May 18th, 2007
Follow the latest top/popular links on the 4 most used social news services on Shareomatic!.
As of today this is possible. Add Shareomatic! as a friend and keep up to date with all things that keep the internets busy. Shareomatic! will check the homepages of the social news services, and send a message when their top story changes. It’s never been so easy to stay up-to-speed with what’s going on in the virtual world. Try it now!
For the time being, “the 4 most used services” are hard coded to be del.icio.us, dzone, ma.gnolia.com and reddit .
54 Services!
April 17th, 2007
Shareomatic! has ameliorated again. What did we do this time?
- As of now you can forget your passsword so if your memory lets you down, you can demand a new one.
- The explanation pages (advantages and FAQ) have improved.
- The navigation tells you what page exactly you’re looking at.
- And last but not least, we’ve added 20 new services, bringing the grand total to 54!
Imagine that you have to maintain that list by yourself… no wait,
Imagine to have that many services available on your blog, with one single click and still keep a clean design. Shareomatic! makes it possible.
OpenID enabled.
April 6th, 2007
We like to keep our promises so as of today you should be able to log in at Shareomatic! with your OpenID.
Maybe, as Openminds was the first Belgian OpenID provider, Shareomatic! is the first Belgian (based) service to support OpenID?
Please keep in mind that you don’t really need an account / login in order to use Shareomatic! It works just as good when you don’t. But when you do have an account, we keep track of the services you like to use.
